This is a great idea and the car it came with truly changes color in the hot and cold water. However, after a while the car has spots resembling somewhere inbetween the two colors. Also, the clear backsplash for the car wash comes off constantly because the groves to snap it in are very shallow and it bends awkwardly. When it is set up my son loves playing with it but he doesn’t get it out very often because it keeps coming apart. I was a little disappointed because I thought it would hold together better.
This was a Christmas gift for my boys, ages 5 & 7. They love it. It does require very hot (almost boiling) and very cold (we use ice cubes) water. Better if you have a variety of cars. We have four. It will get your table very wet and sleeves too. But overall the boys and their friends really like playing with this toy.
