Got these to take on a ski vacay, so 11 year old and husband would have something to play with. Kept them happy and busy! I remembered to bring batteries, but they got me on the battery case… needs a screwdriver. Aside from the screwdriver snafu all was well!
Once you figure these little guys out, they are tons of fun and have provided hours of entertainment for my twin 9 year old boys. The instructions specifically state that you can take out the motor and take the wheels off to clean the parts out. If the car stops working or slows down: first try a recharge, if that doesn’t work take out the little motor, blow on it and the car and remove the rear wheels – do the same. Put it back together and there you go. These are zipping across my kitchen floor – in and out of things, around stools, under tables – the boys are having a great time. They’re even eventing tag and obstacle course games!!! Lots of fun. Highly recommend. Also, one has an arrow where you align and place on the charger, then with a gentle slide you can hear it click on – we push the turbo charge, the light comes on and then we hold the big blue button down until the light goes out. Works every time and the charge lasts a good while.
One other thing – often a wheel will come loose – all you have to do is gently push it back on the axel – everything easily snaps back into place. Well made product.
