Another great Lamaze baby toy My wife and first came across the Lamaze brand by accident. Our 4 month old loves Freddie the Firefly. We bought Stretch the Giraffe for some variety – it’s excellent. We like Freddie Firefly because of the mirror and the crinkle wings. Stretch has a different texture to the legs and our son loves pulling on them.

He loves cuddling the toy and entertaining himself with it, which is a huge lifesaver when you want some “me time” to get stuff done.

A Favorite! And Perfectly Safe IMO The first toy my son ever responded to was his “Sqeaky Bee” Sassy Busy Bugs on Board Car Seat and Stroller Toy
and after it went missing when he was 3 months old, we rushed to the store to find a replacement. While shopping, we walked by this toy and my son started talking and laughing at it. (I of course was trying to push the peacock…so beautiful, but the kid already has a mind of his own!) It was so cute…the first toy he has ever picked out all by himself! After we got home, we ended up finding “Sqeaky Bee” and realized that their faces are very similar looking…my little boy seems to be very drawn to yellow and loves looking at the friendly smile and eyes! The company has obviously put a lot of research into these toys and it sure shows. “Jeffy the Giraffe” has now surpassed “Sqeaky Bee” as his favorite, and can still make him smile when nothing else can!
As a side note – I see there has been some safety concerns with Jeffy and I have looked ours over and see no issue with him. He seems to be of better quality than most toys I have seen. As with any toy, pacifier, teether or article of clothing around your child, you should inspect them REGULARLY to make sure they are safe. Babies are hard on their toys (as my hair can attest to, LOL) and even the best made accessories can fail under such abuse.

Best Baby Gift Ever! I have been buying this Inchworm for friends and family babies for over 15 years, and most of the kids STILL have them! For some reason, these are very popular and become a favorite, beloved toy well after infancy. The best gift for the price anywhere!

Favorite toy This is one of my son’s favorite. He got it when he was two months old and it was his favorite then – now he is nine months old and he still loves it. It is easy for him to hold and roll around with it and he snuggles up against it when he is taking his naps. Great toy! I have to agree with one of the other reviewers though, all Lamaze toys are very similar. We have three of them and the inchworm is by far my baby’s favorite.

Newborn loves it! I just caught my baby quietly playing with these in his crib. I put them on while he slept and when he woke up, he didn’t even cry. I had to peek in at him because he was quiet past his usual waking time. When I did, I found him contentedly playing with the wrist toys. He was smiling, cooing and waving them into his mouth. He hasn’t discovered his feet yet, so we haven’t been putting the socks on. The only caveat I anticipate is that his foot may outgrow the socks by the time he discovers & plays with his feet. Just bought another set for a friend who is expecting!

Figured it out! Our baby LOVES these wrist/foot rattles, but I couldn’t figure out how to keep the socks on – she kept kicking them off every few minutes. First I tried cuffing them, which helped a little.
But I finally figured out that they stay on when put OVER her regular socks. She’s 3 months old and has super-chubby legs, so it wasn’t that they were too large for her. They just tend to stretch and all off as she is kicking.
I wish they were made out of “normal” sock material instead of thin t-shirt type material, but now that I’ve found a way to keep them on her feet, I’m a happy Mom, and she’s a happy baby!

4 month old grandsons favorite My grandson has had this moose for a couple of months now. He enjoyed it tremendously while he could only lay on his back and the Moose hung close by..he then started swatting at it as he learned to coordinate his arms then as he got better it was his favorite toy to grab, then eventually put the legs in his mouth..followed by putting the rings that hang off the Moose’s end into his mouth …we think as teething aids…as well as the plastic antlers. He seems to enjoy them tremendously. all in all, there is something wonderful about Mortimer the Moose.

This is fun! I bought three of these as gifts for different people I know that just had a baby. This toys seemed so fun! Two of the feet have bells and the other two have a material that makes crunchy noises (the scarf does to). I think the head has a rattle and the body make a squeaky sound when you push it. Besides that, the colors and patterns are cool and the different textures are fun. I have not seen this with a baby, but I imagine that babies will love it. I played with it a bit myself.

Great toy for baby from birth My baby son loved Jacque from birth and still now at 6 months. In the beginning he would intently look at the bird, especially the black and white side. He would also love looking at the bird’s face. Now at 6 months he has been enjoying the different textures, sounds, and colors of the toy. Importantly for me, it washed totally fine the the washer, although it said surface wash only. A great toy!

A must have for all <6month olds My little son was a very restless & hyperactive child. This was one of the only toys he could play with for at least 1/2 an hour at a stretch. He chewed it, puked on it, sucked it, laughed loudly when we rotated this toy in front of him, pulled the wings apart & I ahd tos ew them back.

Freddie the Firefly is the best! Freddie has been our daughter’s favourite toy since she was about 2 months of age. She’s now nearly 8 months and still loves him.
